Terms and conditions apply to all Contract, Top Up, uChoose and Prepaid price plans and deals.

Deals are valid from 7 November - 6 December 2017, while stocks last. E&OE (Errors and Omissions Excluded). All prices shown include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Standard RICA rules and processes apply. Vodacom reserves the right to alter or withdraw the deals advertised without notice. Handset options are dependent on the deal selected. OBF (out-of-box-failure replacement) will apply as per existing OBF rules. Promotions or offers advertised in this booklet are subject to change at the discretion of Vodacom and subject to their own terms and conditions The Vodacom SIM may only be used for the purpose intended, use outside of what is considered reasonable for private, non-commercial use and in instances through mechanisms and means not intended for personal use or the anticipated purpose of the offer will be considered as abuse. Data usage, bundles and price plans apply to standard consumer APNs unless otherwise stated. New or upgrading contract, Top Up and uChoose customers will be subject to credit vetting prior to approval. All post-paid deals are subject to signing a 24-month Vodacom Contract and a once-off SIM and Connection fee of R202, unless otherwise stated. International calling and roaming usage is excluded from all-inclusive benefits, unless otherwise stated. Downward migrations and cancellations may attract penalty fees. All monthly allocations included as part of your price plan cannot be transferred.

 

Promotional Bundles (SP Incentive) Data Bundles Terms & Conditions

The SP incentive data bundles will only be available on selected Postpaid and Top Up price plans according to the deals created and can be free or chargeable depending on the deal. Please see your contract terms and conditions. Applicable to bundles of

500M, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB, 30GB, 50GB ---Valid for either ---1 Day, 3 Days, 7 Days, 1 Month, 3 Month, 6 Month, 12 Month, 18 Month, 24 Month

Subscribers cannot opt-out of the SP incentive data bundle for the duration of the contract term. Activation of the recurring SP incentive bundle is conditional to a customer taking out selected price plans for a term of 24 months; or until the customer upgrades their contract; or until the customer cancels their contract. Existing contract cancellation rules will apply.

The SP incentive data bundles will not be allocated Night Owl.

SP incentive data bundles will not be available for purchase via additional sales channels.

The SP incentive data bundles are not available for purchase during a customer’s contract period. They are only available for new and upgrade customers.

All SP incentive bundles are valid for a calendar month, up to 23:59 on the last day of the respective month

If the SP incentive data bundle allocation term is longer than 1 month, the data will be pro-rated for the first month post activation according to the date of activation i.e. if allocated on the 15th of the month, and allocation will be according to the remaining balance of the month of allocation.

If a customer takes up a 1 month the SP incentive data bundle during the month, the customer will receive a complimentary prorated allocation upon initial activation, and the full bundle will be allocated in the beginning of the following calendar month. Terms 6 applies for the pro-rated amount and for the validity in the new calendar month.

If the bundle allocation of the SP incentive data bundle is depleted and there are no additional internet bundles available, the applicable out-of-bundle rate determined by the subscriber plan will apply.

In the event that you migrate from a Price Plan which includes free, discounted or bundled offers services such as the SP incentive data bundle, to any other Price Plan which does not include any free, discounted or bundled services, then you may forfeit all or a portion of such services or lose all such free or discounted benefits and may be required to pay in full for such service on the new price plan.

The full contract inclusive of the SP incentive data bundle can be cancelled at any time but will be subject to penalty fees calculated on the monthly subscription fee, and/or the cost of the device taken at deal level for the duration of the contract period. Duration will take into account the month of contract plus the remaining months to reach a total of 24 months.

Data bundles will be depleted as per the last in first out principle i.e. the last bundle that was purchased will be depleted first.

Usage notifications for Vodacom Data will follow existing rules for Vodacom Data bundles and contracts (70 %, 80,% 90 % and 100 % depletion of Vodacom Data Bundle)

  1. The following customers will qualify for the Vodacom “Summer Device Bundles and Offerings Promotion (the “Promotion”):

 

  1. Customers that purchase any of the below participating devices (the “Participating Device(s)”) during the promotional period from 07 November 2017 - 06 January 2018, or while stocks last;
  2. The Promotion is open to all Vodacom customers, excluding Community Services numbers, Cell phone numbers paid fully by a corporate and M2M as well as SIGI customers;
  3. Minors require their parent/ guardian’s consent to participate in the Promotion;

 

  1. For any reason, should a qualifying customer cancel their purchase of a Participating Device within 7 (seven) calendar days from date of purchase, such customer is required to either return the free promotional device and/or promotional accessories; or purchase such promotional device and/or promotional accessories.
  2. Should a qualifying customer experience any fault with a Participating Device and/or a promotional device and/or promotional accessory, such customer is required to take such faulty item to any Vodacom Repair Centre.
  3. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.
  4. All risks and ownership of the items bought as part of this Promotion shall pass to the owner on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all of Vodacom’s obligations in regard to the Promotion as well as in regard to these items shall terminate.
  5. The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
  6. Neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected participation, including participation that was not registered and / or received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems.
  7. Neither Vodacom nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming the promotional gift.
  8. If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Promotion or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Promotion being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
  9. All information relating to the Promotional and published on any promotional material will form part of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Purchase the new Xiaomi Redmi4A at participating stores, and get a free Bluetooth headset that is inbox (while stocks last).
  • Bluetooth headsets are valued at R349 and are limited to the first 4500 customer who purchase the device.
  • In the unlikely event that a qualifying customer received a faulty headset, such customer should report this within 7 (seven) calendar days from date of purchase that is printed on the invoice (proof of payment) to short@core.co.za with the following information attached:

  1. BlackBerry KEYone + R1000 cashback voucher

 

  • Purchase a new BlackBerry KEYone and get a R1000 cash card that can be used at any store/retailer in South Africa that accepts debit/ credit cards.
  • To use the cash card a customer has to activate it first, using the below step by step process:
  1. Kindly phone or email your Prize Voucher Agency on 011 900 1425 or info@prizevoucher.com;
  2. Customers will be required to email or send a picture of their proof of purchase (till slip);
  • Customers will be required to share their IMEI number (13 number digit on the side of the box) as well as their 16 digit cash card number;
  1. Customers will be notified via email/SMS/Phone call once their cash card has been activated;
  • Customers have to retain their till slip/ proof of purchase for activation of their cash card.
  • Customers may only use their cash card once notified that it is active.
  • The cash card has a 3 (three) year expiry date.
  • The cash card may be used at any point/ retailer/ store in South Africa that accepts debit/ credit card payments.
  • The cash card may not be used for online purchases or to withdraw money at an ATM.
  • Upon receiving the cash card, the cash card is now the customer’s responsibility – Vodacom will not be responsible for the replacement of any cash card in the event of it getting lost or being stolen.
  • Please request the cashier to select the credit card option when swiping the card. Some retailers may select the incorrect option when processing/ swiping the cash card on their pay point, and if the pay point machine requests a pin they have processed the card incorrectly.
  • Prize Voucher Agency offices will be closed on public holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

 

 

  1. LG K10 2017 and the LG Stylus 3 with Free Rocka Epic Over-ear headset

 

  • Purchase either the LG K10 2017 or the LG Stylus 3 and get a free Rocka Epic over-ear headset.
  • The Rocka Epic over-ear headsets have a warranty of 12 months from date of purchase by the qualifying customer.
  • In the unlikely event that a qualifying customer received a faulty Rocka Epic over-ear headset, the customer must follow the below process:
  1. Customers must take the faulty Rocka Epic over-ear headset in its original packaging and proof of purchase back to the store they bought their device at;
  2. The store is to validate that the unit falls within the warranty period and confirm that the product is faulty;
  • The store is to report the faulty unit to SMD contact centre on 011 608 3633 extension 305/ extension 309 or alternatively on returns@smdtechnologies.co.za;
  1. The faulty unit will be collected by SMD from the store for assessment;
  2. SMD repairs or replaces unit and dispatches it back to store;
  3. The store receives a repaired or replaced unit within 10 working days;
  • The store to contact the customer to collect the replaced or repaired unit from the store;

 

  1. LG G6 Smartphone with a free 28-inch LG TV Monitor

 

  • Purchase an LG G6 and get a 28-inch LG TV Monitor.
  • Customers can purchase their device at Vodacom Authorised sales outlets, Vodacom call centres and Vodacom online purchases.
  • Customers are required to have a TV licence, as per the below requirements:

                             i.      A Vodacom Consumer that purchases the LG G6 Handset must be in possession of a Valid SABC TV;

                            ii.      The TV License issued in the purchaser’s name and reflecting the purchaser’s ID number;

Summer device bundles & offerings: Sony Xperia XZ1 or Sony XZ Premium & a Sony PS4 500GB Console

 

  1. The following customers will qualify for the Vodacom “Summer Device Bundles and Offerings Promotion (the “Promotion”):

 

  1. Post-paid customers that get a Sony Xperia XZ1 or the Sony XZ Premium on a qualifying Vodacom 24-month contract during the promotional period from 07 November 2017 - 06 January 2018, can get a Sony PS4 500GB Console, while stocks last, by adding a further R79 pm x 24 months onto the qualifying 24-month contract;
  2. The Promotion is not open to Vodacom pre-paid customers, Community Services numbers, Cell phone numbers paid fully by a corporate and M2M as well as SIGI customers;

LG 28’-inch Television Monitor Redemption

By entering the LG Electronics’ In Hand, In Home, Get a FullVisionTM Summer promotion in South Africa (“Promotion”), you, the Participant, are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

The Promotion shall not impose any obligation on the Promoter to make payment for any tax obligations on behalf of the participant/s to the South African Revenue Services and the participant/s shall bear liability for payment of such tax obligations to the South African Revenue Service The participant/s indemnifies and holds the Promoter harmless from any and all liabilities which may arise in respect of the above.
  21. The Promoter shall not be held liable for any damage of whatsoever nature arising out of or resulting from the use or submission or uploading of any material, photograph, picture, graphic or image during the Promotion.

a.      If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate, subject to the approval of relevant regulatory authorities.

Summer device bundles & offerings: Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8 + and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Travel Voucher

  • Purchase a new Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8 + or the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 between 07 November and 06 January 2018 and get a free R5000 Flight Centre voucher:
  1. Customers will receive a push notification on their new device directing them to IMEI input webpage;
  2. Customers will input their IMEI number (13 digit number) and MSISDN (phone number);

All participants during the term of this Promotion agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

  1. Promotion:

The Samsung Made for Summer Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 2017 Promotion (“Promotion”). The promoter of the Promotion is Samsung Electronics South Africa (Proprietary) Limited, Registration number: 1994/003872/07 and/or its agencies ("Organizer").

  1. Promotion Period:
    • The Promotion will run from Tuesday 7 November 2017 [00h00] to Saturday 6 January 2018 [23h59] (“the Promotion Period”), in South Africa.
    • The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.
  1. To be eligible to participate in this Promotion the participant must:
    • Be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa and/or a legal resident of the aforesaid country.
    • Be currently residing in the Republic of South Africa at the date of the commencement of the Promotion Period.
    • Be a natural person and 18 (eighteen) years old at the date of the commencement of the Promotion Period.
    • Be in the possession of a valid identity document at the time of redemption of the Offer.
  2. Participation in this Promotion excludes the Organizer and Vodacom and their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or any supplier of goods and services in connection with the Promotion and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates.
  3. How to qualify for the Promotion:
    • The participant must:
      • Purchase a Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F), S8+ (SM-G955F) or Note 8 (SM-N950F) from any Vodacom outlet during the Promotional Period.
      • Retain their proof of upgrade or purchase to redeem the Offer.
  1. Can I qualify more than once for the Promotion?
    • The Promotion is limited to one Offer per valid device purchased (unique IMEI), should there be any dispute in this regard, the Organizer shall be sole adjudicator of the dispute and the Organizer’s decision shall be final.     • The Promotion will afford the participant to receive a Flight Centre Business Travel digital voucher (Voucher) to a maximum value of R5 000.00.
    • The Flight Centre Business Travel voucher is governed by the following terms and conditions:

      • Vouchers are valid for any domestic or international travel package, subject to availability.
      • Vouchers may only be redeemed through Flight Centre Business Travel. No instore, online or any other travel partner bookings will be accepted.
      • The Organizer and its agencies cannot be held liable for any changes to flight schedules, routes and destinations or loss of baggage by any suppliers.
      • Cancellations and change costs to the booking will be for the Participant’s own expense.
      • Only one voucher is redeemable per package booking.
      • Only one booking may be made per voucher.
      • The purchaser of the product must be one of the travellers.
      • The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offers by Flight Centre or for the Flight Centre ‘Price Beat’ policy.
      • Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional rewards.
      • Travel Insurance is recommended at an additional charge, certain visas won’t be issued without travel insurance.
      • This reward operates on an e-ticket system and presentation of a valid ID document and or valid passport will be required when checking in.
      • The Organizer and agencies cannot be held liable if the Participant does not obtain the correct visa for international travel when required. Each Participant is responsible for finding out if visas are required when traveling internationally, depending on the nationality of the passport on which the Participant travels.
      • The Offer is not transferable, for sale or re-sale, or redeemable for cash under any circumstance. Unused value will not be transferred to the Participant and cannot be used towards another travel package.
      • No direct contact, telephonic, email or otherwise with individual Flight Centre stores, website or any other travel company, is permitted.
      • Any additional charges over and above the value of the Participant’s voucher, or arising from additional passengers will be for the Participant’s own account, payment for the balance will be either by EFT or ECA link (Secure Electronic Credit acceptance) before the booking will be completed.
      • Should the full value of the voucher not be used for the booking, the Participant will forfeit the remaining value of the voucher.
      • Prices are subject to change until payment has been secured in full.
  2. Terms of Offer Redemption:
  • Upon upgrading or purchasing a participating Samsung Device within the Promotional Period, the participant will receive a push notification with a web link. The web link will direct the participant to an IMEI input page, where they will be required to enter in their IMEI number of their S8, S8+ or Note 8 and their MSISDN number (mobile number).
  • The Participant’s submission will be verified and valid entries will receive a SMS (within 48 hours) with a Reference Number and a link to an Online Registration Form.
    • It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they receive a SMS with the link to the Online Registration Form and Reference Number within the Promotion Period. In the event that no SMS is received, the participant is required to contact the Organizer before 15 January 2018 on 087 0562151. If the participant does not follow this process and does not receive a SMS, their entry will not be entitled to the Offer. Any participant who has unsubscribed from receiving marketing SMSes may not receive the SMS and it is the participant’s responsibility to notify the Organizer. The Organizer cannot be held responsible for SMS’s not received by participants.
  • The participant will be required to follow the link within the SMS to the website where they will be required to enter the Reference Number to complete an online form with required details. The participant must have taken delivery of their Device in order to complete their entry. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their online submission is complete in all respects. The responsibility to ensure that they provide the correct information to facilitate the correct entry, rests with the participant. All online submissions must be completed by 6 February 2018. Any submissions received after 6 February 2018 will be null and void and the offer will be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the Participant to ensure their online submission is complete in all respects.
  • The verification period will take ten (10) working days from the date of the online form submission. If the contents of the participant’s online submission is not verified for whatever reason, the participant will not receive their Offer. The responsibility to ensure that they provide the correct information to facilitate the correct entry rests with the participant. Once the entry has been verified, the participant will receive via SMS a reward registration pin code and a number to call when ready to redeem their Offer. The reward registration pin code entitles the Participant to a Flight Centre Business Travel voucher to the maximum of R5 000.00. The participant calls the dedicated concierge service, quotes the reward registration pin code and will be sent a redemption form via e-mail to complete and return with required information and Identity/Passport Document.
  • The participant returns completed redemption form. Once the reward redemption form has been received by the Concierge Service, the Participant will receive a reward voucher via SMS within 10 (ten) working days. The Participant will be required to contact the Flight Centre Business Travel service provider, as stated on the SMS voucher to make a booking. The participant is required to book with Flight Centre Business Travel within 12 (twelve) months of receiving the reward registration pin code. All travel must have taken place before 28th February 2019. Any unused vouchers after 28th February 2019 will be forfeited.
  • The participant has one year from receiving the reward registration pin code to redeem the Offer. Any Offer not used within one year will be forfeited.
  • All bookings must be made 30 days in advance using the Flight Centre Business Travel contact details supplied via SMS with the digital voucher. Any booking request that is less than 30 days in advance will not be allowed. Bookings are subject to limited availability. Should a participant change or cancel their booking, all costs incurred as a result will be for the participant’s expense. This includes, but is not limited to any cancellation fees and rebooking fees.
  • Children under 16 years cannot travel unaccompanied. For persons between the ages of 16 and 21, parental/ guardian approval may be requested. Any additional charges arising from additional passengers will be for the participants own account. The Organizer and its agencies cannot be held liable for any changes to travel schedules, routes and destinations or loss of baggage.
  • The Offer is not transferable. No substitution, cash redemption, or assignment of the Offer is permitted.
  • This Offer is provided at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
  1. Limitation of Liability:
    • To the extent permitted by any applicable law:
      • The participant and/or winner(s) hereby indemnifies the Organizer against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages or loss of any kind regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the participants entrance to the Promotion.
      • The Organizer excludes all warranties (express or implied), representations and liabilities regarding this Promotion (other than for death or personal injury caused by its negligence and/or fraud).
  2. General:
  • In accordance with the confidentiality policies and practices of the Organizer, none of the entry details of any participant in this Promotion will be disclosed or used by the Organizer for any purposes other than for entry into the Promotion and in accordance with clause 9.3 below.
  • Participants acknowledge and accept that the Organizer shall utilise a third party (the “Organizer’s authorized agent/s”) to contact the participant to arrange confirm the travel booking. In order to affect the contacting process, the Organizer’s shall provide the participant’s information to such third party.
  • Details of participants will not be used by the Organizer for Samsung related communication should the participants opt-out to receive further communication from the Organizer.
  • Information regarding the Promotion that is published on authorized advertising material will also form part of the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
  • The Organizer’s may in their sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendments shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on the Organizer’s website https://.www.madeforsummervodacom.co.za. The onus rests on the participant to constantly check the website for updates to the terms and conditions.
  • The Organizers reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of participants (including a participant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to reject any participant who has not agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omission may be accepted at the Organizer's discretion. Failure by the Organizer to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  • If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention or fraud, the Organizer reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion as appropriate, subject to the approval of relevant regulatory authorities.

RICA


All SIM cards must be registered in terms of Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication-Related Information Act, 2002 (Act 70 of 2002) (RICA) before activation. You are required to present the following documentation: (i) Your ID book or passport; (ii) proof of residence (not older than three months), e.g., municipal rates and taxes invoice, telephone or cellphone account or any other utility bill or retail account. If you live in an informal settlement, provide a letter from the local school, church or retail store where you currently receive your post.

Prepaid

Subject to RICA and in-store activation of a Prepaid Starter Pack. Dial *111# and select ‘Balances’ to check your balance. Dial *111# and select ‘Talking Points’ to exchange your Talking Points for great rewards. To earn Talking Points just recharge and you’ll earn one point for every R10 recharged. Talking points can be redeemed for call discounts, Data, SMSs, MMS rewards (and selected devices, if you are registered for Talking Points and have accumulated sufficient points). Points are accumulated for 18 months. You need to exchange them during this time or they will be forfeited. Your Talking Points are retained even if you move from one Prepaid price plan to another. You will forfeit all accumulated points when converting to a Contract or Top Up price plan.

DATA


Customers will be charged for the volume of Data sent and received, not the time spent connected, unless otherwise stipulated. Transfer speed is not guaranteed and is dependent on network availability and device capability. A compatible device is required to use the LTE, 3G and HSDPA services. Prepaid, Top Up and uChoose customers should ensure that the balance in their Airtime account is sufficient for any downloads or other activity. Customers will not be refunded if they attempt to download any items and they run out of funds during this download, causing the session to be terminated. Data Bundles: All Once-off Data bundles will have a validly up until 23:59 of the 30th day from and including the day of purchase. Monthly recurring Data bundles (unless otherwise specified) are available for use for up to 60 days, or until the end of the next calendar month.  Once customers have used up their Data bundles, or they have expired, the out-of-bundle rate per MB will be applied respective of their price plan. See your applicable price plans terms and conditions for your out of bundle rate per MB. Data bundles only apply to national Data usage; no roaming Data usage will be deducted from available Data bundles. Night Owl Data: Night Owl Data bundles available only from midnight to 05h00, and only available for Contract customers. Only applicable to usage on SA network and excludes roaming services.Data sharing SIMs (DSS): A once-off SIM and connection fee is charged for each Data-sharing SIM (DSS), as well as a monthly subscription fee for the service. Customers on Vodacom’s Red/Red+ Price Plans are not charged these fees for the first two Data-sharing SIMs while they remain on a Red/Red+ Plan. Data will be consumed using the LIFO (Last-In-First-Out) principle. The last bundle purchased or activated will be the first bundle consumed. All other available bundles will then be consumed in chronological order. Monthly recurring Data bundles on Contract uChoose or Top Up will be pro-rated (Data allocation and cost) in the month of purchase and the full allocation will only take place on the first of the next calendar month. Monthly recurring Data bundles on Prepaid will have the full allocation (Data and cost) applied on the day of purchase and recurring allocations will take place every 30 days from and including the date of purchase. Once-off bundles will have the full Data allocation and associated cost applied at the time of purchase. Wi-Fi bundles can only be used in an AlwaysOn or G-Connect Wi-Fi hotspot. Customers will need a Wi-Fi capable device as well as a Vodacom single sign-on username and password in order to connect. This can be obtained by registering on http://www.vodacom.co.za Wi-Fi bundles can also be used on certain Mango national flights; bundles must be purchased before boarding the plane.

SMS/MMS

Other SMSs will be charged at rates applicable to the customers’ price plan. Out-of-bundle rates applicable to the price plan will be applied once customer has used the bundle (Minutes/SMSs/Data, where  applicable) included in the price plan. Anytime Minutes/SMSs/Data (MB) included in the price plan will be available for use for a maximum of one month after the month they were allocated.

RED+ PRICE PLANS


Red plans have calls billed per second. Unlimited and Anytime Minutes are available for calls to SA networks, anytime and may not be used for calls to international destinations, premium rated IVR services, and premium rated DICONs, roaming call services, short codes, video IVR, Travel Talk service, conference calling or VOIP calls. Anytime Minutes and Data (MB) included in the Red Price Plans will be available for use for a maximum of one month after the month they were allocated. Unlimited SMSs may not be used for SMSs to international destinations, premium rated services, short codes or roaming SMSs. Out-of-bundle rates applicable to the Price Plan will be applied once customer has used the bundle (Minutes/ SMSs /Data, where applicable) included in the price plan. Additional SIMs will be data Only SIMs. No telephony or video telephony will be active on these SIMs. The unlimited voice and SMSs offer on selected Red price plan(s) may not be used for commercial purposes. Any use of this offer outside of what is considered reasonable for private, non-commercial use and in instances through mechanisms and means not intended for personal use or the anticipated purpose of the offer will be considered as abuse. Any Contract signed up on a Red+ price plan during the promotional period, will run for the duration of the Contract, however no new sign-ups will be allowed at the time that the promotion ends.
Smart Plans have calls billed per second (excluding Smart Light). Anytime Minutes are available for calls to any SA network, anytime. Anytime Minutes may not be used for calls to international numbers, premium rated IVR services, short codes, and calls while roaming. These will be charged at the applicable rates prevailing on the Price Plan. SMSs included in the price plan may only be used for SMSs to SA networks.

Smart Price Plans

Other SMSs will be charged at rates applicable to the customers’ price plan. uCHOOSE FLEXI and SMART TOP UP+ PRICE PLANS


uChoose Flexi and Smart Top Up+ plans have calls billed per second. Anytime Minutes are available for calls to any SA network, anytime. Anytime Minutes may not be used for calls to international numbers, premium rated IVR services, short codes, and calls while roaming. Monthly Airtime allocation on the uChoose Flexi packages cannot be used for the purchase of premium rated content and VAS services. Airtime allocated as part of uChoose Flexi Plans will carry over up to a maximum of five months╒ allocation. uChoose customers have access to certain VAS offers and services, which Vodacom reserves the right to discontinue.

SIM Only

SIM Only plans have calls billed per second. Anytime Minutes are available for calls to any SA network, anytime. BlackBerry® 10 BBM™ VAS Usage

Exclusively for use with newer BlackBerry. Operating System 10 (OS10) devices and it is not compatible with any other handset. The onus is on the customer to ensure that his/her handset supports the service before buying it. On-device usage constitutes access across the Internet APN. Data usage is billedaccording to your price plan or bundle used. It includes a 200MB allowance for BBM text messaging and BBM file transfer only. The allowance excludes any non-BBMservices such as browsing, media streaming and application traffic.

The file transfer limit for BBM is 6MB except for voice notes, which are 96KB for single chat and 55KB for multi-person chat. If you exceed the 200MB allowance, you will be billed according to your price plan or bundle used.

All devices remain the property of Vodacom until full and final settlement has been received by Vodacom. Should you wish to cancel this agreement prior to final settlement, the amounts paid by you and received by Vodacom will be refunded upon submission of positive identification.
